■ MOTIVATION
I think it's good to set numbered goals for yourself. If you create a challenge: "Paint 2x or 3x a week for 3 weeks", odds are that you'll paint more than normally, and painting FEELS GOOD.
After those 3 weeks you'd have 6 or 9 results, or more, and you can exhibit or sell these.
It can help to get this motivation from the 'outside' like this 'challenge'.
■ 1 DEMO IN OPTION A
It might be nice to see how I paint a flower 'alla prima', in '1-go', 'fast' and 'loose' and it can be freeing to paint 1 painting in 1 day. This new demo helps you to see how a painting can be built up, using brush, knife, oil paints on a small canvas.
■ FLORAL COURSE IN OPTION B
I already have a BIG flower course with many demos so you can also have this and use this to learn more about painting flowers from life. If you choose option B you get this course AND the feedback, and the extra new demo. If you want to see the exact contents of this course go here
■ TIPS & FEEDBACK / ZOOMS
You will be able to upload your results on a private page so we can give you tips and personal help/feedback on your work. This is the most valuable part I think. Nobody likes criticism but everybody likes GOOD TIPS. I'll use photoshop sometimes to show you and us all HOW you can approach something differently to get different results. These sessions are recorded for you so you can rewatch. Access to these recordings is 2 years. To the Floral course (in option B) is 3 years.
■ TEACHING & MATERIALS
My teaching revolves around painting 'from life' whether it's plein air or indoors, it's the 'alla prima' way. My teaching is about COLOR & LIGHT. We'll focus on that, using brush & palette knife. I'll paint in OILS in my new demo that you'll also get. YOU can paint in all materials of your choosing, because the base of "How to get a good result" is most often the same: a result of 1. composition 2. color 3. light 4. tools/brush/knife.
